Anawareness programme regarding the use of robotics in education was organised on Tuesday to enhance the technical skills of students at the Government Women’s Degree College here under the auspices of the Computer Science department. The event featured resource person Akanksha, who educated students on the importance, applications and prospects of robotics.

Topics such as robot construction, programming, use of sensors and automation were explained. Robotics fosters creativity, problem-solving abilities, critical thinking and teamwork skills among students. The principal noted the growing importance of technology in modern education and advised students to gain knowledge in emerging technological fields, such as robotics and artificial intelligence, alongside their regular academic curriculum.
