Leadersof the AP Peace Committee have called upon the public to actively participate in and make the world peace rally, scheduled to be held here April 14th, a grand success. The rally is being organised to protest against imperialist war aggression, which has become a threat to global peace and human survival.

Peace Forum conveners Golla Narayana Rao, Dr Velaga Joshi, and Muneer Ahmed stated that the rally is being conducted with the support of various service organisations, transcending caste, religion, and social divisions.

The rally will commence at 4 pm from the BR Ambedkar statue on MG Road and will proceed up to the Indira Gandhi Municipal Corporation Stadium. The organisers demanded an immediate end to ongoing conflicts in the Middle East, involving countries such as the United States, Israel, and Iran. They emphasised that wars can never provide permanent solutions, as they lead to loss of lives and severe economic consequences. They stressed that dialogue and negotiations are the only viable means to resolve conflicts.

They urged people from all walks of life to participate in large numbers and make the event successful.
