TirupatiUrban Development Authority (TUDA) has taken a major step forward in reviving the long-pending road construction from Mangalam RTO office through Settipalli to Renigunta Road, fulfilling the dream of residents.

The 2.9 km road project, which had stalled since 2019, is now progressing with the shifting of the Telugu Ganga pipeline at Mangalam.

TUDA Chairman C Divakar Reddy, performed the bhoomi pooja for these pipeline shifting works.

In 2019, the then TDP government had sanctioned Rs 19.5 crore for the project, but works came to a halt. Now, under Chairman Divakar Reddy's initiative, TUDA has allocated Rs 2.9 crore from its own funds to complete the pipeline shifting swiftly.

TUDA Chairman Divakar Reddy instructed officials to finish the pipeline works at the earliest, keeping public inconvenience in mind. He assured that once the shifting is done, all hurdles for the road construction will be cleared, paving the way for smooth progress through Settipalli to Renigunta Road.

Chandragiri MLA Pulivarthi Nani, Tirupati MLA Arani Srinivasulu, Greenary and Beautification Chairman Sugunamma, Yadav Corporation Chairman Narasimha Yadav, TUDA Secretary Dr Sreekanth Babu, EE Ravindraiah were present.
