Emphasisingcleanliness, public safety and sustainable urban management, Commissioner of the Cyberabad Municipal Corporation G Srijana carried out a sanitation inspection on Thursday, across key locations in Kompally Circle. The visit resulted in a series of directives aimed at improving sanitation, restoring water bodies, and enhancing civic infrastructure.

During the inspection, the Commissioner interacted with local stakeholders and issued strict instructions to shopkeepers to maintain cleanliness by placing dustbins within their premises, reinforcing the importance of responsible waste management at the source.

A major highlight of the visit was the inspection of Fox Sagar lake, where the Commissioner directed officials to complete the removal of water hyacinth within 10 days. This move is expected to significantly improve the ecological health of the lake and restore its natural balance.

The Commissioner also reviewed water logging issues in Jayabheri Colony and instructed engineering teams to prepare detailed proposals to address the problem effectively, ensuring long-term solutions to recurring civic challenges.

Attention was also drawn to safety concerns caused by overhanging cables in several areas. Officials were instructed to coordinate with relevant agencies to eliminate such hazards and prevent future occurrences, enhancing public safety across the circle.

Additionally, nearby parks and open spaces were inspected, with directions issued to submit proposals for the development of basic amenities based on ground level requirements. This initiative aims to improve public utility spaces for residents.

The inspection reflects a proactive governance approach, with a strong focus on accountability, infrastructure improvement, and citizen centric urban development in Kompally Circle.
