Thecoalition government in the state has delivered on its election pledge to reduce electricity costs for water plant owners by reclassifying them under Category 3. Water Plant Association state president Rammohan praised the move, vowing support for the government.

During a visit to AHUDA chairman T C Varun in Anantapur on Thursday, Rammohan requested 1.5 cents of land for an association office. Varun assured immediate allocation, emphasising the government's commitment to all sections. District vice president Harish and other leaders attended the event.
