MP M Sribharat stated that the west constituency in the city is witnessing rapid transformation across all sectors, with a focused push on enhancing civic infrastructure to improve residents’ quality of life.

Addressing the gathering during a series of inauguration ceremonies organised here on Wednesday, the MP mentioned that the Andhra Pradesh government is committed to driving development in every sphere.

Alongside Government Whip PGVR Naidu (Ganababu), he inaugurated multiple development works worth Rs.2.39 crore, marking a major boost to urban infrastructure in the constituency.

The projects, executed across GVMC wards 52, 89, and 90, reflect a comprehensive development approach.

Some of them include the inauguration of the Swarna Ward Secretariat building and an additional floor to the community hall in VUDA Colony of ward 52, aimed at strengthening administrative services and public engagement.

In ward 90, a newly-developed public park and community hall were opened, while a women’s building in Kakani Nagar and a modernised public park in ASR Nagar were dedicated to the public.

Kothapalem in ward 89 witnessed the launch of a public park and community hall, along with the inauguration of a Muslim Community Hall in Santosh Nagar and a Viswabrahmin (Kamsali) community hall in Adarsh Nagar. These works highlight efforts taken to cater to diverse social groups.

Speaking on the occasion, Government Whip and MLA Ganababu noted that the administration is giving top priority to constructing parks and community halls in tune with public needs, ensuring that development remains people-centric and sustainable.

Former corporators Bommidi Ramana, Dadi Ramesh, leaders Boddeti Vijay, Y Tirumala Rao, V Chandrasekhar, alliance leaders, were present.
