Ministerfor BC Welfare, EWS Welfare, Handlooms and Textiles S Savitha called upon youth to emerge as entrepreneurs and generate employment opportunities for others. She stated that Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu’s vision is to develop at least one entrepreneur from every household. She assured that the government is extending full support and encouragement to aspiring entrepreneurs who come forward to establish industries. She was speaking at a one-day awareness seminar on opportunities for economically weaker sections in MSME parks held at Nagarjuna University on Wednesday. She appreciated the initiative of organising awareness programmes for economically weaker sections among upper castes regarding the establishment of small and medium industries in MSME parks. She said the coalition government is committed to uplifting EWS communities and eradicating poverty. She said that CM Naidu, Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan, and Minister for HRD Nara Lokesh are working tirelessly to make Andhra Pradesh a leader in the industrial sector. She reiterated the government’s goal of creating 2 million jobs by 2029, as promised during elections. Within just 22 months of the coalition government, investments worth over Rs 25 lakh crore have been attracted to the state, she said.EWS Principal Secretary K Sunitha, MSME CEO M Vishva, Vice-Chancellor Prof Gangadhar Rao were among those who participated.
