Nestledamidst serene surroundings, the Hanumagiri temple is all set to witness a surge of devotion and spiritual fervour as preparations intensify for its much-awaited Brahmakalashotsava.

The sacred hill shrine, known for its religious significance and tranquil ambience, is expected to draw thousands of devotees during the multi-day celebrations beginning April 13.

The temple, a prominent spiritual centre in the region, holds a special place among devotees who flock here seeking peace and blessings.

With its rich traditions and vibrant rituals, Hanumagiri has long been a hub of faith, particularly during annual festivities that bring together communities from across coastal Karnataka.

This year’s Brahmakalashotsava is being organised on a grand scale, reflecting both the temple’s growing prominence and the deep-rooted devotion of its followers.

Speaking to Hans India President of the Brahmakashasha utsav committee Nalin Kumar Kateel (former MP of Dakshina Kannada) said the celebrations will feature a series of sacred rituals, including homas, special poojas, and ceremonial offerings, conducted as per Vedic traditions.The highlight will be the grand procession, where the deity will be taken through decorated streets, accompanied by devotional music and cultural displays, creating an atmosphere of festivity and reverence.

Beyond its religious importance, the event also serves as a cultural gathering, showcasing traditional performances and strengthening community bonds. For many devotees, attending the Brahmakalashotsava is not just a ritual but a cherished spiritual experience that reinforces faith and unity.
