Audisankara, Deemed to be University (ASDU), Gudur, on Wednesday organised Dandi Yatra 2.0, an initiative aimed at eradication of drug abuse and substance dependence across the State.

The occasion was graced by the arrival of Vibrant Kalam Cycle Rally at its momentous 100th kilometre on the university campus. The rally, conceived in the spirit of Kalamism, draws inspiration from the vision of former President of India Dr APJ Abdul Kalam, weaving together patriotism and nationalism into a living narrative that resonates with the youth of the nation.

Dandi Yatra 2.0 convenor V Venkateswara Rao and Founder Vijaya Kalam, Gudur Rural CI Kishore Babu, Rural SI Tirupathiah, and EAGLE (Elite Anti-Narcotics Group for Law Enforcement) SI Rajiv Kumar and others addressed the gathering, underlining the gravity of drug menace and the collective responsibility of educational institutions, civil society, and law enforcement to confront it together.

Registrar Dr Rajaiah and Deputy Registrar J Ramaiah, Dean of the College of Science and Technology Dr Dhananjay and Prof Amarendra coordinated the event.
