Palnadudistrict collector Kritika Shukla has directed officials to expedite the construction works of the new Government Medical College and its affiliated hospital in Piduguralla.

She stated that all necessary steps are being taken to commence outpatient medical services at the new government teaching hospital in Piduguralla. She conducted a review meeting with officials to assess the progress of the construction works of the medical college and the attached hospital. She reviewed the progress achieved so far.

Officials informed that construction is underway in three main blocks of the college laboratories, administration, and lecture galleries.

They also stated that the outpatient, inpatient, diagnostic, and emergency blocks will be completed soon. She instructed that all pending works be completed at the earliest. DMHO Dr Ravi, DCH Prasuna were among those who participated.
