Jayashankar Bhupalpally:MLAGandra Satyanarayana Rao and District Collector Rahul Sharma expressed strong anger over the chaotic conditions prevailing at the main hospital in the district headquarters during a surprise inspection conducted on Wednesday.

The leaders visited various departments of the hospital, including the casualty ward, laboratory, MRI section, and outpatient rooms, to assess the quality of medical services being provided. During the inspection, doctors informed them that the casualty ward had only six beds, which was causing serious inconvenience to patients, particularly during emergencies. Taking note of the issue, the MLA and the Collector directed officials of TGMIDC to immediately prepare plans for the construction of a new casualty ward with 15 beds.
