A major food safety violation has been uncovered in Mailardevpally, where authorities raided an illegal snack manufacturing facility operating under unhygienic conditions. The H-Fast Team conducted a surprise inspection at the premises following specific intelligence inputs about suspicious food production activities in the area.

The officials raided the unit, which was found to be manufacturing snacks marketed under the brand names ‘Karachi Polo’ and ‘Ring Light’. The inspecting teams discovered that these food products were being prepared in extremely unhygienic conditions that posed serious risks to public health.

During the inspection, the teams observed that the manufacturing unit was operating without proper hygiene standards.

The offices revealed that low-quality and potentially harmful substances were being used in the preparation of these snacks. “The use of such toxic materials has raised major concerns among health officials about the impact on consumers, who may have already purchased these products,” said an officer.

The H-Fast Team seized a large quantity of suspected unsafe food products from the manufacturing premises. The seized items are being sent for laboratory testing to determine the exact nature and extent of contamination or adulteration.

The teams are examining production records, raw materials, and finished products to file a case against the operators.

The Mailardevpally Police Station has registered a case and launched an investigation into the matter. Police said that strict action will be taken against those responsible for endangering public health.
