NarayanaHealth has surpassed 10,000 successful orthopaedic and spine surgeries, including over 1,000 robotic joint replacements, reinforcing its position in advanced, technology-driven healthcare.

The milestone highlights the hospital’s focus on clinical excellence, innovation, and improved patient outcomes.

Marking the achievement, the hospital reported successful management of two complex cases advanced knee arthritis and a rare multi-level spinal tumour. Dr Abhinandan S Punit, Senior Consultant and Clinical Lead-Arthroplasty, stated that the institution remains committed to expanding access to high-quality care through advanced technologies and multidisciplinary expertise, enabling precision in surgery and faster patient recovery.

In one case, a 69-year-old patient suffering from severe knee pain due to advanced osteoarthritis underwent a total knee replacement and was mobilised within a day, later discharged with improved mobility.

In another case, a 53-year-old patient diagnosed with a rare spinal tumour involving multiple levels underwent a complex surgery led by Dr Shashidhar BK and a team of specialists.

The procedure involved tumour excision and multi-level spinal stabilisation using advanced navigation and neuromonitoring technologies.

Doctors reported that the patient regained full strength in the lower limbs post-surgery. The hospital stated that continued emphasis on early diagnosis and integrated care will further strengthen its role in delivering advanced orthopaedic and spine treatment.
