StateFinance Minister Payyavula Keshav participated in a constituency-level outreach programme on the Budget 2026–27 held at the Mandal Parishad office in Uravakonda.

Addressing officials and the public, the Minister said the primary objective of the outreach was to create awareness about key features of the state budget, development priorities, and welfare initiatives.

He emphasised the need to ensure that information reaches both district and mandal-level officials as well as citizens, enabling effective implementation of government policies.

Keshav directed officials to adopt a clear and structured approach in utilising budget allocations, stressing that every rupee must be spent efficiently and transparently.

He noted that nearly 85 previously stalled central schemes had been revived and urged departments to make optimal use of the available funds.

Highlighting the government’s commitment to transparency, the Minister said efforts are being made to ensure that the benefits of the budget reach the common people more effectively.

He called on officials to focus on accountability and timely execution of programmes to achieve development goals.
